To improve livelihoods, diversity, resilience, food and nutrition security in the Diocese of Masvingo by 2026.

Desired results:

Have a minimum of at least two income sources per household by 2026 and have a society that produces adequate nutritious food and excess for sale

Strategy 1: Needs Assessment

Conducting pre-visibility studies
Baseline survey
Analysis and report writing for fund mobilisation

Strategy 2 : Sustainable Agriculture to 7000 farmers

Detailed Activities:

Baseline survey on income sources
Identify and segment areas in terms of interests and skills, training needs
Train people on income generating in the particular area identified

Strategy 3: Income Sources

Detailed Activities:

Sustainable farming techniques. -agro ecology -sustainable agriculture -climate smart
Seed provision
Training on nutrition and dietary diversity.
Promotion of seed sovereignty.
