Strategic Goal

Increase communities’ capacity to respond to emergencies on disaster risk management and provide quick relief which leads to recovery to communities in emergencies in Masvingo Diocese
  • Strategy 1: To mobilize funds for Gender Based Violence
Detailed Activities:
  1. Resource mobilization
  • Strategy 2 : To capacitate community structures on the use of SASA Faith methodology in addressing Gender Based Violence
Detailed Activities:
  1. Hold Stakeholder sensitization/meetings
  2. Establish GBV Community structures
  3. Train community structures on SASA Faith methodology
  4. Sensitize communities on SASA Faith methodology
  • Strategy 3: To educate communities on referral pathways
Detailed Activities:
  1. Baseline assessment
  2. Engagement of Community Action Groups
  3. IEC materials eg billboards, flyers and posters etc
  • Strategy 4 : To challenge negative cultural norms that promote GBV
Detailed Activities:
  1. Baseline survey on the change of attitudes, perceptions and knowledge on community members
  2. Educate communities on human rights
  3. Administer outcome tracking tool quarterly
